Ordered this belt for my son. He is a 32 year old who works in the entertainment industy in California and has high standards for his clothing and accessories. He was looking for a dress black belt with flat buckle. He LOVED this belt. Loved the "mechanics" of it as well as the look. Definitely would recommend this belt to others!

This belt is pretty awesome. The belt uses a ratcheting system that allows you to tighten the belt in 1/4 inch intervals, instead of the typical 1 inch belt holes. Since it doesn't have holes, you can tighten the belt to your desired fit without wearing out the belt holes. The ratcheting system works well and you really feel that the fit is secure the whole time. I've been using this belt for a week now and I think it's probably the best fitting belt I've ever used.
Removing the belt took a little figuring out and then some time to break it in. There is a lever that you pull on the underside of the buckle, which releases the belt from the ratcheting system.
As for physical characteristics, the belt I got is made of smooth leather and is of pretty good quality and thickness. The width of the leather is that of a regular belt and not oversized.
The alloy buckle looks great and feels sufficiently heavy. I have one buckle but two leathers (a black and a brown), as I got a brown leather delivered first by mistake and Mission customer service sent me a black leather for free because it was their mistake. I got the black leather in approximately three business days, which was pretty fast service from my perspective. Mission customer service is excellent and courteous, so if you encounter any problems you can contact them through their website.

Looks like all the Slidebelt employees are trolling hard.
Anyways. I got my belt today and it is great. I had to cut is down to size, but it was super easy to do. Now it fits perfect. I only wish the leather was a little bit thicker. Other than that this is a great belt if you have trouble with normal belts that only adjust in inch increments.
