A good place to start.

This is decent French instructional software. It has some grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. I particularly like that you can speak the French words and get feedback as to the accuracy of your pronunciation, great for improving your pronunciation. No software will be able to make you a fluent speaker, not even Rosetta Stone, which costs a lot more than Easy French. To be fluent you would have to move to Montreal, avoid the English speaking areas, watch French tv, converse only in French, etc. You get the point. But if you want to learn French then this software is an excellent and economical place to start. A note about the download, avoid the mistake I made. Leave yourself plenty of time for downloading, it could take up to 1.5 hours. I have a dsl connection and it took all of that for the download to complete, don't start if you have to leave for work in the next half hour. One other note: you need Quicktime for the program to run. If you don't already have it installed, it is a free, easy and fast download, available in a PC version. I would recommend this software, it will give you a good start on your road to French fluency.

Easy FRENCH ain't so!

Please do not purchase this item. I received a nice box with a CD! Only a CD. No booklet,no guide, no way to walk you through the set up.
If you are tech savvy,then you might be able to get it to function!!

I finally received a program from AMAZON that I have rared the LOWEST of any item purchased during the last 7 years!!

Great product for the price

We really like the program, especially when you talk into the microphone for pronunciation. Lots of vocabulary and different lessons to help you with all types of situations. Will also give you the english translation. Definitely worth it for the price, paid just over $20.
